Message from the Chief of Police

The mission of the Mountain Home Police Department is to provide effective police services to residents of our community by enforcing federal, state, and local law in a fair and ethical manner. Service is our only product and we strive to provide the best. Effective policing is also delivered by providing pro-active programs and interaction with our citizens. Our efforts include maintaining a highly skilled, well trained, and professional law enforcement agency.

Services are delivered in a variety of ways. To effectively deliver services, the police department is divided into three divisions.

The Patrol Division is responsible for traffic, criminal code, and city ordinance enforcement. The division also handles complaints of all types and makes referrals when needed. The K-9 Unit, Special Response Team, and Breathalyzer Operations are a part of the patrol division.
