The police department is responsible for providing police services to the residents of our city and the many visitors enjoying tourism and trade in Mountain Home, Arkansas. If we can assist you, contact us. Service is our only product and we strive to make it the best.

It is our goal to inform the community about your police department's philosophy, programs, and operations. With this knowledge, the police and the community can work together in making our community a better place to live. We are confronted with community growth that requires a strong community policing effort to meet the present and future demands for police services. Working together, we can meet this challenge.

Drug arrests pursuant to serving two search warrants at same residence

On Thursday, April 9th, 2015, officers from the Mountain Home Police Department, Arkansas State Police, Baxter County Sheriff’s Office, 14th Judicial Drug Trask Force, and the Arkansas Department of Community Corrections, served a search warrant at 304 Foster Street. The execution of the search warrant was pursuant to a drug investigation.

Officers arrested JOHN DRYDEN (46), REBECCA CONNER (34), and a male Juvenile (16) all from Mountain Home. Quantities of several substances believed to be methamphetamine, cocaine, LSD, and marijuana were located in the residence. A marijuana grow operation and paraphernalia used to ingest and distribute narcotics were located in the home as well.

DRYDEN and CONNER were charged with the following:

Possession with the Purpose to Deliver a Controlled Substance (methamphetamine), a Class B felony

Possession with the Purpose to Deliver a Controlled Substance (cocaine), a Class B felony

Manufacture of a Controlled Substance (marijuana), a Class D felony

Use of Possession with the Intent to use Drug Paraphernalia to Distribute Methamphetamine and Cocaine, a Class B felony

Use or Possession with the Intent to use Drug Paraphernalia, a Class D felony

Endangering the Welfare of a Minor 1st Degree, a Class D felony

Possession of Controlled Substances (methamphetamine and cocaine) with the Purpose to Deliver Near Certain Facilities

The juvenile was charged with a misdemeanor count of possession of a controlled substance for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

CONNER was released from custody after posting a $25,000 bond and DRYDEN remains in jail on a parole hold by the Arkansas Department of Community Corrections.

During the following week, investigators continued to receive information about the use and trafficking of drugs at the same residence. On Monday, April 20, 2015, officers served another search warrant at the same residence pursuant to a drug investigation.  Officers located a quantity of substances believed to be methamphetamine, marijuana, and paraphernalia used for the ingestion and distribution of narcotics.

REBECCA CONNER of Mountain Home was charged with the following:

Possession with the Purpose to Deliver a Controlled Substance (methamphetamine), a Class C felony

Use or Possession with the Intent to Use Drug Paraphernalia to Distribute (methamphetamine and cocaine), a Class B felony

Use or Possession with the Intent to use Drug Paraphernalia, a Class D felony

Possession of Controlled Substances with the Purpose to Deliver Near Certain Facilities, an unclassified felony enhancement of ten years

CONNER was incarcerated in the Baxter County Detention Facility with bond set at $100,000

RAMONA TAYLOR (46) of Flippin was charged with the following:

Possession with the Purpose to Deliver a Controlled Substance (methamphetamine), a Class C felony

Use or Possession with the Intent to Use Drug Paraphernalia to Distribute (methamphetamine and cocaine), a Class D felony

Possession of Controlled Substances with the Purpose to Deliver Near Certain Facilities, an unclassified felony enhancement of ten years

TAYLOR was incarcerated in the Baxter County Detention Facility with bond set at $25,000

KEVIN HUTSON (34 YRS) of Mountain Home was charged with the following:

Possession with the Purpose to Deliver a Controlled Substance (methamphetamine), a Class C felony

Use or Possession with the Intent to Use Drug Paraphernalia to Distribute (methamphetamine and cocaine), a Class B felony

Possession of Controlled Substances with the Purpose to Deliver Near Certain Facilities, an unclassified felony enhancement of ten years

HUTSON was incarcerated in the Baxter County Detention Facility with bond set at $25,000

WILLIAM BRANDON HALL (25 YRS) of Mountain Home was charged with the following:

Possession with the Purpose to Deliver a Controlled Substance (methamphetamine), a Class C felony

Use or Possession with the Intent to Use Drug Paraphernalia to Distribute (methamphetamine and cocaine), a Class B felony

Outstanding warrants from Mountain Home and Gassville

HALL was incarcerated in the Baxter County Detention Facility with bond set at $25,000
