It is our goal to inform the community about your police department's philosophy, programs, and operations. With this knowledge, the police and the community can work together in making our community a better place to live. We are confronted with community growth that requires a strong community policing effort to meet the present and future demands for police services. Working together, we can meet this challenge.

Search warrant results in drug arrests

Two Mountain Home residents were arrested on Thursday, May 28th pursuant to the execution of a search warrant on Remington Circle. The search warrant was served following a two month drug investigation by the police department and Arkansas State Police. The Baxter County Sheriff’s Office assisted with the execution of the search warrant. Officers located and seized a quantity of marijuana, items used to weigh, package, and distribute narcotics, paraphernalia used to ingest narcotics, and $25,586.

JENNIFER MURRIE NASSIMBENE, 30 and EVAN TYLER WHITE, 23, both of Mountain Home were charged with the following:

Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Purpose to Deliver, Class C Felony

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia for the Purpose to Distribute Drugs, Class D Felony

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia for the Purpose of Ingestion of Drugs, Class D Felony

Possession of Controlled Substances with Purpose to Deliver Near Certain Facilities, Unclassified Felony Enhancement (Church)

Both individuals were incarcerated in the Baxter County Detention Facility with bond set for each at $25,000.
