The police department is responsible for providing police services to the residents of our city and the many visitors enjoying tourism and trade in Mountain Home, Arkansas. If we can assist you, contact us. Service is our only product and we strive to make it the best.

It is our goal to inform the community about your police department's philosophy, programs, and operations. With this knowledge, the police and the community can work together in making our community a better place to live. We are confronted with community growth that requires a strong community policing effort to meet the present and future demands for police services. Working together, we can meet this challenge.

Major Meth Bust

Press Release


On 9/1/15, officers with the Drug Enforcement Agency, 14th Judicial Drug Task Force, Baxter County Sheriff’s Office, Arkansas State Police, Arkansas Department of Corrections, and the Mountain Home Police Department arrested 3 suspects on drug charges. The arrests are the result of a lengthy drug investigation during the past several months and pursuant to serving a search warrant at a residence on Circle Drive. The investigation was initiated by a Baxter County Sheriff’s Office investigator and a 14th Judicial District Drug Task Force investigator. Additional investigators from the Arkansas State Police, Drug Enforcement Agency, and the Mountain Home Police Department then became involved in the joint investigation. 

During the execution of the search warrant, approximately 672 grams of methamphetamine with a street value of approximately $65,000, two firearms, $1,456 in US Currency, a 5th wheel camper, and a 1999 Ford Expedition were seized.

BLEAZ ESPINOZA MOLINE, 39 OF Texas,  was charged with state charges of Trafficking of  a Controlled Substance. He was incarcerated in the Baxter County Jail with bond set at $100,000.

ADAN SANCHEZ, 45 of Mountain Home and OMAR VAZQUEZ, 49 of Mountain Home, were charged by federal warrants of arrest for Distribution of a Controlled Substance and Aiding and Abetting. Both were incarcerated in the Baxter County Jail without bond and they are being held for federal authorities.

The federal charges will be prosecuted by the U.S.  Attorney’s Office, Western District of Arkansas.
